How I help businesses on AWS

  • Migration to AWS: move servers, file shares, websites and apps from an office closet or old host to the cloud
  • New AWS setup: accounts, networking (VPC), EC2, S3 and user access configured the right way from day one
  • Cost cleanup: find unused resources, right-size servers and cut your monthly bill
  • Security review: permissions (IAM), multi-factor sign-in, encryption and public-access checks
  • Backups and recovery: automated backups and a tested plan for when something goes wrong
  • Hybrid setups with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Azure

Is this a good fit?

This works well for small businesses and growing teams that don't have an in-house cloud engineer. You get someone who explains the options in plain English, recommends what you actually need instead of the most expensive setup, and stays reachable after the project is done.

How a project works

  • 1. Free call about your goals, current setup and budget
  • 2. Written plan and quote that you approve before any work starts
  • 3. Build and move, scheduled to keep downtime to a minimum
  • 4. Handoff with documentation, plus ongoing support if you want it
AWS FAQ

Common questions

Is AWS a good choice for a small business?

Often, yes, especially if you're replacing an aging server or need to work from anywhere. Sometimes Microsoft 365 alone, or a simpler host, is the better choice. I'll tell you honestly which fits.

Can you lower my AWS bill?

Many accounts pay for servers that are bigger than needed, forgotten test resources, or storage that could be cheaper. A cost review usually finds savings.

Do you work with Azure too?

Yes. I also hold the Microsoft MCSE in Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, so I can help with Azure or setups that use both.

Do I have to be in the US?

No. Cloud projects are done fully remotely, so I work with businesses anywhere. We'll schedule calls around your time zone.
