Yes. Almost all malware lives in software, so it can be found and removed over a secure remote connection. If the infection stops the computer from connecting to the internet, I'll walk you through getting it back online first.
Will I lose my files?
The goal is always to keep your files. I remove the infection without wiping your computer, and I'll tell you before doing anything that could affect your data.
Do you remove ransomware?
I can remove ransomware and check whether your files can be recovered from backups or earlier versions. Contact me right away and don't pay the ransom until we've talked.
Do you work on Macs too?
Yes. Macs get adware and browser hijackers too. I clean those up the same way.
